Summer is usually slow...but is the Bl Gr/Oka/RW/JB deal holding things up?

I'm guilty of constantly refreshing CB hoping that there's some traction somewhere, because I know that the NBA summer is slow - especially after the Summer Leagues. Now we all know that the Olympics are also coming up, so there's also kinda a rush to get deals done before the Games begin in Rio.
Now I'm sure that you can see by the transactions that have happened in July 2014 - August 2014, there were trades happening about 1 or 2 every week. http://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2015_transactions.html

Especially since the salary cap has gone up, and teams have money to spend don't you think that its odd that there haven't been any trades in about a week?

Could it be that other GMs are waiting until the possilble Blake/Westbrook/Okafor/Butler situation happening with the Celtics to resolve itself and then the rest of the dominoes for other teams will start to fall into place?

Nope... She said that shipped sailed many, many years ago.  It did get a big smile out of her.   And her new boyfriend was not to excited about the conversation.   haha...

I think there's very limited amount of impact players that haven't been signed yet, and I'm not sure anyone would be holding off a trade because of the Celtics. Just feels like the trepidation here is largely artificial.

I don't think you can put protections on what would be the BKN pick. why does everyone keep acting like our pick isn't the Bkn 17?

Pretty good at first glance if you ask me. But obviously I love it for the celts.So extreme bias with me.

You can put protections around the conveyance of the result of the swap.

But that said, no way on earth does Chicago trade away Jimmy Butler for Rudy Gay, Young & Mickey and that pick if it has any protections on it at all.
