last year summer league i became a fan of rj with his passing and court awareness but he has got to hit shots-he did this year at summer league 46% and some from nyc
this year from what i saw in nader is bigger, stronger player with lateral speed and that huge 7-1 wingspan
rj has that low release that sometime looks rushed but not nader
given choice as of today-rj should be concerned

The big thing is that if you don't sign Nader to the club this year, you still retain his rights as a 2nd round pick. Since he's not expected to be a game changer, and at best a back-of-the-roster guy, might as well roll with the 1st-round-pick you’ve already got on your roster and see if Nader develops into something in another league down the line.

Is it worth discussing 14th and 15th type players?

Better than discussing the merits of highly unlikely theoretical trades.

I like what I saw from Nader. Fits well with our system, does a little jerebko, a little Turner.
Given that RJ, Young and Nader are young prospects who will sit more than play I'd rather keep the one who's shown he can contribute the most.

If we only have two spots for these three I'd say keep Nadier and RJ.

Apparently to some. You are welcome not to be involved.

As for the question, I would stick with RJ. He has a year in and seems to maybe become more consistent with his 3 point shooting. Also appears to be improving on passing and rebounding. Still has some work to do on defense.

While Nader has looked better than expected, I've seen way too many guys look great in summer league to get too excited. Not saying he might not be a player, just not ready to cut RJ to keep him.

I'll take Nader over RJ all day but the other poster was correct, put him in another league and as if he develops, 1 year is a small sample size and he was a first round pick. If it came down to one or the other, Nader all day

Nader s body and COMPOSURE .....is more NBA useful than RJ s boyish college build and nice demeanor .

how quickly they forget the merits of rozier vs rj in playoffs
rozier stepped up and rj left korver alone twice-
better to post about two players vying for shooting guard that have just finished utah and las vegas tournament where i watched every game and sometimes twice
nader put his mark on the position with his poise, defence ,taking it to hoop and hitting his shots--for me he was a breath of fresh air
after all the helter skelter play of brown ,marcus thornton, the inability of jackson under pressure- a very poor outing
nader has quick feet on defense not a matador, switched well and picked his openings and finished with skill, not expecting a trip to foul line and forcing shots
there are players that play better up, that let the game evolve and can bury shots-maybe nader has the age frame ,speed and wingspan and can bury his open looks or it was just summer league
and he had his moment

They're both scrubs.   I don't get the Nader love.  He just isn't NBA talented.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

That is what we live for on Cblog. Hunter is 14 James Younb is 15.
Nader needs to get better to make this team.
