The point about Pierce coming here and helping out Brown is well taken. I'm expecting that, especially if a Griffin deal goes through. Pierce could do it all.

Man, I'm optimistic just like you. But I don't think Mickey will ever be able to be a starter in this league. I think he regressed from last year. He is showing mayonese hands, doesn't rebound well and is not blocking shots either. I hope I'm wrong, but I sense he won't start for us

I think you are assuming all those players develop to the max of their capabilities. Even if they do that team is extremely young and youth doesnt win championships

I get that this thread is a joke about "overreactions".

That said, I get to use the same argument everyone else did when I criticized Brown: IT'S ONE SUMMER LEAGUE GAME.

I hated the pick the moment it happened, and I still hate it, and I still think he's going to be consistently "meh" for his entire career. This one game doesn't change that. If anything, it reinforces my belief that he won't be a total bust, he'll just be a total letdown. One great game, followed by 2 bad games... very Jeff Green-like.

they wont be good enough to make the celtics roster. heck, if brown is michael jordan, the rest of the roster are nba all stars for sure.  ;)
