I'm excited to the possibility of adding Cousins, but I'm scared as hell too. If he is that locker room cancer that some people talk about, he could possibly ruin our team. It takes one bad orange to screw all the others in the bag.

With a vet like Horford and the fact that that he wouldn't be the leader of the team, I wouldn't worry too much

I hear the rule of thumb for malcontent type players is that a good team can handle 1, it's when you get 2 or more that you have a problem.  Remember Popovich got along with Stephen Jackson for two separate stints in SA.

Cousins' problems seem to be more about focus and emotional control than getting drunk and fighting people ala Okafor or Blake.  Can be a major problem on the court but I see him as less likely to be disruptive off it.

Maybe this rule you're saying is true. If we land Cousins, I hope you're right.

But I'm from Brazil and soccer is huge here. Some experiences here have tought me that one guy can ruin an entire team of 11 players for example. Ego is a big team killer in all sports I guess.

Guys seriously, go buy a copy of nba 2k16. Its dirt cheap now. I know people like to bash it around on here, but if you do the trades yourself in a fair way it helps ease the insanity of waiting for it to happen in real life.

Dude's claiming both deals are Amir/Jerebko/Zeller, and the sticking point is "the inclusion or exclusion of picks and whether they're 1st or 2nd".  Well I for one am NOT adding any 1sts on top of that king's ransom for scrubs like Cousins and Griffin.  If we're even magnanimous enough to include any picks at all

After spending my sunday night refreshing twitter, hoopshype, realgm and celticsblog waiting for Durant decision, just to be p---ed off with him choosing GSW, I've decided to stop this for a while. Also I have a hearing in the morning, so I can't miss the night or I'll look like a zombie in court.

The best mentor would be KG since you asked, but this is not a possibility now, maybe if KG retires and become our assistant coach for big men.

But even if he causes some minor problems, I could live with that, because he has all the skills to turn this team into a huge roadblock to the Cavs
