Good news. Not that Crabbe was going to be a bargain for them at $75m, but he definitely would have helped them win more games. I'm optimistic they won't get Johnson, either.

The Nets have a pathetic roster.  A team like Philly has 200x more talent.

Portland are paying a lot of money to be above average.

Lol that is amazing. The nets really are trash. Now its time for that snake riley to step up to the plate and bring johnson back to miami.

Now please sully. Just dont go to the nets, and if i ever meet you in person I will buy you a dinner at a buffet of your choice.

Ya, it might be worth it to trade Lopez for picks or young talent.

Hope that happens bc we get def 2 top 3 picks the next 2 years lol....3 top 3's back to back to back

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Glad to see this as Crabbe would definitely have helped them this year, but they do still have a lot of money to spend and some decent players still available. By allocating Crabbe's money to two or three other players who haven't yet signed, they become a much deeper (but not very good) team and that makes me uneasy.

what if we do some three team deal.

Some team out west takes on lopez

We give the nets the grizz future pick and our pick next year

We get some so-so pick from the third team

I don't want lopez on our team
