isn't Al wearing a purple shirt? I don't get down to details of calling his shirt mauve, I stick with the more widely used 'purple'.

Ok if that's what you think he's wearing I get it now. When I think of purple I think of the hated lakers. If Abbey was wearing purple I could understand that too. Personally I guess I am color-blind. I see Al wearing a blue shirt and don't even know what mauve is?

I am pretty sure one of the Laker colors is purple and I hate it!

Yes purple and gold means Lakers. Most detestable color combination in history.

Green and Purple are very Irish colors.

The Lakers have the ugliest deep purple ever, and combined with that custard color makes their combination the ugliest in sports.

LOL pretty much, but the purple cannot overwhelm the green....make it 50/50 on a scarf, or more green with purple trimmings. Great colors.

The Lakers are so ugly because they are more like an indigo, while the purple I like is more like the tyrian purple.

maybe some more knowledgeable posters can help but upon further research the shirt Al is wearing in that interview is more of a lavender which is describes as a color with a little tint of purple.
