AB is one of our better players and shooters, can't dump him for Okafor, Smart sure.

Keep Bradley, trade Smart and 18 Brooklyn for Okafor.

I'd trade one or the other plus a couple non-BRK 1sts.

I voted "no" assuring the rest of the board that I am not drunk, on drugs, and in my right mind.

Even people on this board who ARE drunk, on drugs, or not in their right mind would say "no" to this
I'm bitter.

I voted yes as a basic starting point, but I'd want Covington and Thompson back.  Covington is a solid all around player and Thompson is an excellent shooter

PG - Thomas, Rozier
SG - Thompson, Young, Bentil
SF - Crowder, Covington, Brown
PF - Horford, Johnson, Olynyk, Mickey, Jerekbo (Crowder and/or Covington would play here a fair amount in a small ball lineup)
C - Okafor, Zeller (Horford would back Okafor up)

So that would be the 15 man roster.  Still would like to upgrade SG (Thompson would be a solid back-up)
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I like it. While bradly has grown on me I've never believed he was the anser at the 2 spot.   Also with top 5 picks a real possibility the next two years and money for another max contract next year, Bradley is realistically only a place holder.  Smart was picked 6th but will still come of the bench in his third year.  That's not good enough for a top pick.

Roster =
IT/ Rozier/ Jackson
Brown/ Hunter/ Young
Crowder/ Jerebko/ Bentil
Horford/ KO/ Yabusele
Okafor/ Amir/ Sully

Yabusele will develop better practicing against our bigs than playing in Europe.

With two top 5 picks coming, and looking at that roster, I would bet one is a big PG and the other a SF.  I like Jonathan Isaacs with the 2017 Brooklyn pick, 6'10 SF.

Let's face it. Dunn has potential to be better than both Smart and Bradley. If we were willing to give up the #3 pick along with either one of those 2, along with other assets, then the value given up would have been greater than Smart+Bradley anyway.

The only missing part of this equation now is where Brown ranks compared to Smart and Bradley.

Who said we were willing to give up #3 + Smart or Bradley? The rumor was #3 for Noel+RobCov+2 picks in the 20's, and *Ainge* was the one who declined...

I just want to add one more thing. Let's compare Smart and Okafor:

-Okafor's defense is as bad as Smart's offense. It is really bad, and it is not more likely that Okafor becomes good on defense as it is that Smart becomes good on offense.
-Okafor's offense is nowhere near as good as Smart's defense. He is not an efficient scorer right now, and other than scoring he offers nothing on this end--neither passing nor floor spacing. In contrast, Smart is already one of the best defensive guards in the league.

The only reason that people think Smart for Okafor is a good deal is that people undervalue defense and overvalue volume scoring.

Smart or AB more like it.

Exactly. That's closer at least.
If DA can get JO for Smart or Bradley, I'd be very happy. Not both.   I think I'd be ok adding TR, DJ or Clips pick.  I believe that move puts the C's one player (a good one)  away from being in contention.
