I prefer Brown to Hayward or Okafor.

Well that's hard to say Brown hasn't played an NBA minute so far.

I'd love to have Hayward this year. But why trade assets for a player we could just as easily sign the next summer?

I fully expect Hayward to be on DA/BS radar. But lets save the trade assets for players we can only acquire through trade.

I love Brown, and I'm very high on him. But if Hayward would love to come here to play with Stevens as 2nd or 3rd guy, I'm definitely down for it, and it certainly gives us more breathing room to open up our treasure chests of assets to use on a player like Griffin or DMC.
Not interested. Guys who score in the high teens on mediocre/average teams are just not ass good as they seem.

I think Hayward is legitament. He's not Larry Bird or Durant but as our Pedroia he'd be alright.  We are going to have to make moves to play the field is how i see it. That pun wasn't intended either but I think we do.

The nba is different now.  We don't have Larry or Magic here. Durant and Lebron either.
Sure. But he's not that much (or possibly at all) better than what we have already.

Gotta be careful, because Utah could be decent next season.  Maybe he'll stay.

Really depends on what you'd have to trade for him.

I'd really like a starting lineup of IT/AB/Hayward/Crowder/Horford

Good bench of  TR/Smart/Brown/Sully/Amir too

reserves: Jerebko, Mickey, Hunter, Young, Bentil/DJ

Completely disagree, Hayward is an excellent all around player who has no problem creating from nothing at the end of games and shot clocks.

He is playing without a point guard yet is an excellent passer, solid defender and very good shooter/finisher.

He could easily be a number two or three player on a championship team.  He is actually a really underrated player in my opinion and should be an All-Star.

He is playing with far too many guys who cannot create their own shot and pass him the ball with four seconds to go on the clock 30 feet from the basket.  Give him a point guard and some solid wings and you would be surprised at what he can do.

Utah will be good soon.

I agree, but I don't think that describes Hayward. He put up 20/5/4 last year on 15 shot attempts, and Utah wasn't exactly Philly. They won 40 games in the west with him as their leading scorer. All things are relative of course, and he's not a franchise guy, but he's also not Robert Covington.

I would really love to see Hayward in green, but what can we offer Utah, that will make them trade Hayward?

How much would you guys give up for him, and what would Utah demand?
