With regards to Sully, nothing about Sac's roster planning makes sense.  Why trade down to grab a big foreign center when WCS was picked 6 last year and had a capable rookie season? Why pick Skal with Dejounte Murray still on the board?

That said, I said "depending how anyone is interested in Sully" for a reason, as I do think a three-team trade makes more sense.

Also, I don't think my trade involved giving up that much for Gay, which is appropriate. I don't think any of the pieces are reasonable for Cousins.

Further clarification, unless I'm missing something: we still don't have to match salaries if the result of the trade is under the cap. So if we have e.g. $10M in cap room, we just need to send out $3M to take back $13M. I'm still not sure who'd we want to include, maybe Jerebko at $5M and also expiring?

Hopefully this just torpedoes SAC leverage for a Cousins deal, when they lose their 2nd best player and face up to rebuilding.
