I'm not much of a Sully fan but I'd take him on a one year deal.  He'd still be our best rebounder.

Nader reportedly agreed to be stashed in the D Leaque on draft night. He seems even less likely to ever play in the league than Colton Iverson or Thornton.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism

Yeah, he would definitely give us another legitimate, proven player in our front court. It would also give us another expiring contract to use in a trade. He and Amir are probably about equal value, but Sully is younger and may still be an asset if he comes into the season in shape (yeah...I know).

Anyway, there are a lot worse things we can do than bring back Sully for one year, although the Mickey supporters will probably be pretty bummed.

We could have done better in free agency but yes.

I actually really like the look of Nader. Worthy/nance. Hoping he kills it with the CLAAAAAWWWWS

Sorry but NO, I'd rather give Bentil, Mickey, Yabu more minutes. This is what i've mean all along, by having too many young prospects...you can't give proper attention to any of them.

Heaven knows what Sully weights now, after a summer of "praying" for the big contract.

Zeller is better off in China.

Make QO to make sure you have more options. Based on market at QO they aren't bad deals. You have to think talent on the roster and forget the actually hate for Sully lol

Sully and Zeller at QO is good with me for just one year.

Sully has played well enough to stick, considering they are still pretty weak up front. Zeller is a zero on defense--should not keep him.,

Both are not staying here. It is only just a matter of time they receive offer sheets

Guessing 7-9 million a year

And as Yabusele keeps excelling in these SL games, plus Mickey progression, there is little reason to bring Zully back

Yab needs another year before he can do anything in the NBA. I'd over seas play him.

Why the heck not?

We have Horford, Amir, KO, and then unknown/unproven Mickey.

I like the talent at the top, but that's still an extremely shallow roster of bigs.

It would be sketchy even if all season long none of our bigs have an injury.  And we all know how unlikely that is.  If we ever had more than one of those guys hurt at the same time, I have absolutely no clue what would happen.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

If we bring back Sully on a 1 year deal, how soon can we trade him?

I may be wrong but if we send him with no other player it's right away.

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

On a one year deal, I could live with it. I was hoping they'd move on but the rest of the remaining options aren't that enticing.

I hope they can give Mickey more of a run this year.
