second part of this video the audio does not sync with the play. But you can see this guy is no Sully.  Love that putback dunk.  He can do a bit of everything and doesn't play out of control.   His picks are ridiculous lol.  Good rebounding/boxing out job last night. Just so big.  Excellent at PNR. He is like a wall and rolls to the basket pretty quickly. I hate to be the guy under the basket waiting for the charge.  Imagine if it was Bender? He would prob be in the 5th row by the end of such play

I know he is not ready yet but wouldn't he develop better in the D-league, where he could still practice against the likes Horford, rather than French league?

He looks shorter than 6'8 and the announcer said he's 6'7, but with his quickness could he possible develop to where he can play the 3/4 like Crowder?

I think the guy's future is as a small-ball 5. Keep in mind he's the same height as Draymond Green.

I disagree about the height.  Maybe his standing reach is the same, because he has long arms/wingspan.  But I'd bet top dollar that his head height is closer to 6'6" than 6'9".

thanks for the video. a tp for the thread.

yabusele might turn into an interesting player. the main knock on him has been his poor defense. but those blocks sure looked good.

Definitely a little raw, but has the tools to become a Draymond-like player. He has such an interesting blend of athleticism, strength, and energy, but he needs to become more well rounded on both sides. I want to see him on the block more and he needs to be confident shooting the ball. I think you send him to the D-League were he can develop better footwork and confidence in his stroke and he will be a force.

By the way where's Mickey?? Really was looking forward to seeing how he has developed.

I really thought he played well.  He is very interesting off the dribble.

To me, he is definitely more Larry Johnson than Draymond because of the lack of defense but he has potential there.

I doubt he'll be signed this year. If he's signed he'll count against the 15 roster positions.  I think the C's  let him develop for a year or two in Europe before bringing him over. Maybe Danny can find him a team over there that will develop him for us.

As for Mickey, he's hurt. It's reported that he hurt his shoulder blocking a shot in practice and was sent back to Boston for examination and treatment. If it's not serious, maybe he'll rejoin the SL team in Las Vegas. Brown (knee) and Hunter (wrist) are nursing injuries, too, which is why they didn't play the second SL game. They might be available Thursday, but I saw where Brown is having an MRI on his knee. Now that has me worried!

While I agree that he does not look tall. Did you know that Draymond in 6'5.75" with no shoes. He's at least that tall.

Right. The point is that Draymond is short for a center, not that Yabs is tall. The way the game is played these days, somehow you can get away with this.

One more thing to keep in mind on this guy... Last year in the top French league he shot 43% from 3 on 61 attempts. From what I understand that's a step closer than the NBA 3-point line, but still. Considering the guy's only 20, he could turn into a really nice shooter to go with whatever kind of under-the-basket game.

My god, you're right. Green is 6'7" . I just looked him up. He looks and plays a lot bigger on the court. There's hope for this kid.

It didn't take GS, however, very long to sign a rim protector--Pachulia--after they shed Boguts.
You got to have a rim protector, and that's what they're missing. Along with scoring. Okafor?

They only got away with it until Bogut, a legit center, got injured.

Decent summerleague game.  Was getting concerned after game 1.
