Super bummed that KD chose the easy route in FA. But hey, it's HIS CHOICE.

He chose to win in the easiest way possible. By surrounding himself with the best group of 3 players on any team in the league, besides Cleveland.

Will it affect his legacy? I mean, I doubt too many people will be praising Kevin Durant and giving him a ton of credit for winning a title in Golden State. I doubt GS fans are giving two craps what anyone else is thinking as far as that goes. And honestly, the way KD is, should we think he is thinking any differently? Maybe he just simply wants the rings, at any expense, including his "legacy".

Can we ever truly compare a Lebron, KD, or Curry to a player like Jordan, who was the clear centerpiece and reason for 6 NBA titles? Absolutely not. This generation of players doesn't have anywhere near the level of manhood and competitiveness of NBA generations of the past. They get paid more to do less. They physically are not put through the same 82 game season, since the NBA went "soft" on the rule changes.

But hey, we just need to forget about it, and try to find ways to remind him that HE MADE THE WRONG CHOICE!

Danny has done so much with so little in the ways of draft fortune (missing on KD for instance), FA's never wanting to sign here. He has placed this team firmly in the drivers seat, where we control our destiny, but can simultaneously improve and re-tool at far less expense then any other organization. Teams either have the draft ammo, or the cap room, or the talent with no room to build upon it.

WE HAVE ALL 3. We will improve organically. We will develop more talent as a playoff contender then any other playoff team. And we still have the room to add any FA who is MAN ENOUGH and who has THE BRAINS to see what is going on, without the Lebron-like super-team cronyism that makes the NBA far less competitive than it's been in years.

We have the chance to prove the modern NBA that it can still be done the old-school way. A wily GM who knows how to wheel and deal. A coach who can make underachievers better, stars out of nobodies, and be their friend at the same time. And we don't need a player-lobbyist to play footsie with his buddies to build a playground team with the Varsity kids banding together to "challenge" the nerds and color-guard to a 5 on 5 showdown that means nothing compared to doing it the right way!

HAPPY 4th EVERYONE! HEAD UP!

GO CELTICS!!!!

Idk what I'm more made at, KD taking the easy way out, or him now forcing me to root for LeRoid.

Unforgivable.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Ehh...the new NBA with 37 foot chuckers being more valuable than actual basketball players is overrated.  This generation is weak and spineless.  None of them are even 10% Jordan, Bird or Magic as competitors- including LeRoid.

Bring back handchecking and actual defense and lose the in game wining.

I find it funny how Lebron keeps getting dragged into these convos....I mean he just won a title where he led BOTH teams in minutes, points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. I mean nobody in NBA modern history (even MJ) has ever acheived that in a Finals Series. If doing that is not being the center piece of a Title team, I cant imagine what exactly being a title center piece would entail!!!Playing 1 v 5??? ::) ::)
