How would you feel if Durant was available again? Would you be willing to make a run for him again? On what circumstances can he join us? (Please try to put your emotion away ^^)

Yes.  I don't understand this jilted lover syndrome around here. It's not like he started in Boston.

Duh.  Of course.

We can sign him after he wins a few rings with the Warriors.

Durant, Jaylen Brown, and BRK 2017 / 2018 will be our star core.

Of course I'd love to have him as a Celtic, doesn't change the fact that he's a coward with this decision. I don't have intrinsic hate for him like I would LeBron.

This decision is not a deal breaker for me to forgo adding Durant.

He's simply a disappointment. Nothing more and nothing less.

Im disappointed he chose GS. I think less of him because of it but he's a top 5 guys and hose guys are obviously rare and they key to winning rings. He can come here anytime.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I don't think its ever a question you let any emotions spurned; disintegrate when taking into account the validity of reeling in a MVP caliber tpye of player. But I was really bummed by Durant's decision, and am really not that as interested as I was.

I would certainly love to try to pull a trade off for DMC, and if we could bring in Westbrook, that would be the icing on the cake.

When he scores 15 points per game, finishes 15th in MVP voting, and is booed and mocked mercilessly on the road all season, he could have a change of heart after picking up a title.  Of course I would take him.

Forget Durant. He made his choice. Move on. He went with a winner. Gasol has also done the same with the Spurs, probably taking less money.

That's the trend with the top free agents. They go to the best teams. Horford was the exception.

What's galling is it took Ainge years to generate cap space to sign top FAs. GS and SA did it in 5 minutes by shedding players like water off a duck's back. The NBA should close that loophole if it wants to remain a competitive league.

Ainge should not be through yet. He has a window to improve the team further with trades. He isn't there yet to seriously contend, and should not waste his cap space with players who will not make enough of a difference.

No, if he decides to explore free agency again next year, I'd go after him hard again.
