What do you guys think? Are they just toast for the next 10 years now? At least the Celtics are in the East where a Finals birth is still conceivable.

No change. Lakers were a million miles away from winning title before Durant joined GSW and are still a million miles away after. Same, same.

One reported on twitter speculated they could trade D'Angelo and Ingram for Westbrook or something.

They're still probably gonna sign him next offseason

I am sure Mozgov, Ingram,  Clarkson and Deng will give the Warriors a run for their money  :P Long road for the Lakers back to the finals although a few big trades or free agent signing could get them a lot closer...Westbrook...Cousins...etc.... Than again, do they have enough ammunition to get a few big pieces in the near term?

The only thing it does to the Lakers is kill their mystique as Kings of the Western Conference.  The media is going to quickly tire of waiting for the Lakers to be good again.
