How Durant to GSW benefits Boston

I know you're all focused on how Durant become a coward and all but i thought i would just remind everyone of some simple facts that should make you feel better.

The Western conference is stacked and now it seems impossible anybody can get past Golden State. The East only had 2 teams with above 50 wins and now that Boston has Al Horford we are sure to get to at least around 55

players could be wanting out from the west and the tide for Boston to become a free agent destination is about to turn.

Boston owns some very inciting top picks for the next few years even while competing.

Isiah Thomas, Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder

Thais 1 All Star, An all defensive guard that can shoot the ball and a great two way guy for under 30 mil

chuck in Al Horford with bench players such as Brown, Smart & Olynyk you got to admit it looks quite good.

There's still plenty of cap space, even if we re-sign everyone(bar turner obviously) add Dudley and some more scorers we are easily favorites to face the cavs.

All we need is 1 more cornerstone piece to proceed and banner 18 is around the corner.

The fact that KD was heavily considering Boston has open all sorts of doors that we've never seen before.

This is true. For any serious superstar wanting to win a ring, going East makes absolute sense.

Ever since the news broke, I'm kind of at a loss for what the celtics should do. Doesn't make sense to plug away full steam ahead to have our pinnacle be getting slapped by the warriors.

Not saying I want him (because I really haven't thought much of how he would mesh with our team or who we'd have to give up to get him) but I wonder if Westbrook gets traded this year.  Free agent next summer.  OKC really has to start thinking if they want to risk losing superstars two years in a row and getting nothing in return.  OKC itself is hardly a place that will lure free agents.
