No. Summer league means absolutely nothing.

Dude.  You are the antidote to exhilaration.

Summer league proves absolutely nothing. I have zero idea why people get so excited watching draft choices play against other draft choices and players who will never sniff the association.

Meaningless.

Yea, how dare people get excited about watching a player who was picked in the top 3 of the draft.  ::)

It's the first time he will play as a Celtic and we're having some fun?

as well as the #1 pick!  As I said in the other SL thread, I want to see some Ben Bentil and Demetrius Jackson.  These guys could be better than their draft position suggests.

Maybe RJ Hunter has a breakout year, maybe...the point is there is plenty to get excited about.

What if Jaylen Brown turns out to be better than Durant from day one. ;)

Some of the players we haven't seen much of. So it's a chance to see them in a hand full of games.  And the second year guys we want to see some improvement. Smart last year had a huge jump from one year to the next, but got hurt. But you saw some things that he started to do near the end of the season.

And it's basketball, it doesn't have to mean anything, it's just fun to watch.

Man over the last couple weeks you've been a bit of a curmudgeon on these boards. Any time some one wants to talk about positive stuff or things they like to watch like SL, you crap on it. People are trying to be glass is half full around here and you just knock it over so it spills every wheres.

I mean you don't have to like SL, but you also don't have to p--- in people's cheerios at the same time.

James Young really needs to prove himself. This is his last chance to show he belongs... I'm not
sure he does?
iirc as a third year nba player he can't play in the summer league.

Someone please PM me instructions on how I can illegally steam this game.  There didn't seem to be a summer league package for purchase and I should have access to all of these games as-is given I pay for league pass every year.   I don't anticipate the Golden State Basketball Association to fix this any time soon.
