Basically, the NBA champion would become a foregone conclusion for the next 5-8 years. Following the NBA would become pointless unless LeBron joined the Clippers or something.
Disappointing but understandable.I think I'd then root for GSW if they were in the Finals next year, with the hope that Durant, with ring finally in hand, would opt out and come to the Celtics.
