If Durant decides to go with GSW, what will your reaction be?

Basically, the NBA champion would become a foregone conclusion for the next 5-8 years. Following the NBA would become pointless unless LeBron joined the Clippers or something.

Durant on OKC means that team is the prohibitive favorite for at least the next few years, instead of being a cofavorite with Cleveland. I'd say the expectation would become that they win at least two or three titles together.

It would mean Durant cares most about winning a title, and does not care how he does it.

The Heat were not 73-9 the year before LeBron joined. A Big 3 can be beat. A Big 4?

It's a good thought, but I think it's more realistic that if he signs with Golden State, it'll be for long term.  A big selling point...heck, the BIGGEST selling point for him going to the Warriors is not winning just 1 ring, but a lot of rings, like 3+.  Because barring serious injury, a core of Curry, Thompson, Durant, and Green, with nobody older than 28...there's real potential for a 90s Bulls-like dynasty.

I think the nba would be pretty boring.   GS would be a lot better than everyone else.  Honestly who would challenge them?  SA is ok but is losing  Duncan.  Cleveland would be the only team that could maybe add someone like Melo to compete.

We'd have a chance still once they got old and our young guys got older.

But, I would say that if he jumped ship to GSW, he would most likely decide to stay there and re-sign after next season.  Obviously not a guarantee, but a very high possibility.    I think anyone would be excited if he decided to come here tho.  The same can probably be said for Lebron.  Most people may dislike him, but most would still take him on their team.
