We have scored big in landing AL Horford.

Presumably we will spend a bit more for this season and maybe even net KD.

We have a group of young guys we sometimes call the core that are watching people like Etuan Moore pull down some nice contracts. They have got to be saying to themselves ' can't wait till its my turn'. They are not going to be cheap, even as role players.

So how much will we have to pay AB, IT and KO after this season?

How much will MS and JC cost in a couple years?

If Jalen morphs into a star in a couple years he will get expensive really quick won't he?

What will Rozier command on the open market?

I think we have to get some of these guys signed long term soon or it will be really expensive. It really won't matter how high the cap goes, it just means bigger contracts.  I hope we try to keep about 10 million or so available every year to address  our needs but it will be difficult. This is going to be tough to manage with all the money in play. A mistake can really hurt a franchises future going forward.

It will be interesting to see how it is managed.
