Is rebuild over if we sign Durant?

Obviously the answer is yes but my question is in the form of how does this change our approach now?
I'd assume all rookies, 2nd year players and future picks are up for grabs. The youth movement is over and the team goes into win now mode.
Would a trade like Crowder/Smart and our pick next season (Brooklyns 2017) for a guy like Marc Gasol really be out of the question?
Could Jaylan Brown be on the table for an established vet under a good contract? Not sure who but kind of thinking out loud.
Do we give up the farm for Jimmy Butler?
You have to wonder what happens if we get KD. I can't imagine he and Horford care we have Brooklyns picks for the next two years or Memphis and LaC's 2019 picks.
I also bet we see Vets coming to play with us for minimums or drastict pay cuts. How about Boozer?
I truly believe we go into win now mode and sacrifice future assets to do so.

It's over in the sense that we're ready to compete... but we'd have so many assets still, that the rebuild would technically be still ongoing.

If Durant does sign with us, I believe part of the sales pitch is that Danny won't sacrifice the ability to be amazing just to overpay fringe players to put around durant. Durant most likely wants to compete for as long as possible. He saw lebrons window in Miami only last a few years, and he also can see that lebron went back to the cavs for the promise of youth.

This isn't to say that Danny won't give up the farm for legit players if they arise. I just don't think Danny is going to give up everythibg for butler. Or giving up 2 BKN picks for someone like hayward. I think their best way forward for both Durant and the team is to trade future minor assets (non brk picks) for role players to make an amazing supporting cast for durant. Then if some great trade comes up to help put more stars around durant you do it.

Or option 3. You continue to draft with the BKN picks which for 4 years they are worth their weight in gold. If you draft players, you give yourself even more flexibility in free agency (boston would have to be viewed positively in this light after what theoretically would have happened) due to the rock bottom cap holds of draft picks.

We will need to give up a couple of young players and probably a pick to shore up the bench.  We at least need another big.  I just hope we don't completely sell the farm.  Part of the beauty of our current situation is that we can continue to develop young players and draft high end prospects to continue to keep feeding the team for years to come.  Durant could be in a similar position to what Duncan has experienced into his mid or even late 30s.

If we get Durant I think Danny starts to aggressively look to move our future assets for a 3rd/4th (depending on how you feel about IT) star.  He'd definitely be a lot more willing to use Brooklyn picks to get there. 

But if there's anything this process should show, it's that Danny's patient enough to keep his options open if need be.  Things just speed up drastically at this point.

We're already paying big bucks to one 30 year old.  We don't need another one.  We need to go after stars in their prime like Cousins and Butler.

Done for the year most probably, but we gain a lot of cap space next Summer, so another opportunity to make big trades if opportunities present themselves

This. What I'd like to see is some of these young guys grow into rotation roles as part of a championship team. We really are unique in that we can draft 3 kids with the Nets picks who could go their whole career not missing the playoffs. Pretty special
