You can't really ask for a better sixth man than Crawford.  Instant offense and I'm sure Stevens would know how to best utilize him.

I understand wanting to give minutes to Rozier and Hunter.  I think Rozier will get his shot with Turner gone.  But you can never have too many shooters, and Jamal Crawford is most definitely a shooter.

It could also wind up with a guard or two being shipped out for another big, which wouldn't be bad.

Yeah, pretty much this. And iso offense, though it has a bad name, is still needed in today's NBA, especially towards the end of the game. We have hardly any iso offense whatsoever, and that's exactly what he excels at.

He's exactly the type of person we should be chasing to fill out the bench if we're really contending for a title.
