I've been one of the few I think who has supported Danny every step of the way over the past couple of years.

When draft night happened I admit I was underwhelmed, and for a few moments I felt really disappointed and honestly a little big frustrated.

But then I stopped, and I thought about how many good things Danny has done for the team these past few years, and I decided to put my faith in him one more time and see how this offseason comes out.

After all this really was the first offseason in which Danny has had serious assets two work with, so I felt it wasn't fair to judge him when the offseason had not even concluded yet.

The way I look at it, we don't have to right to pass any judgement on Danny until opening night, we we have our final roster suited up, stepping on the court.  Until that day, Danny's plan(s) have not yet concluded, so we can't really judge him.

I feel we shouldn't judge until the final whistle is blown at the end of the season, not at the start.. Its not just players but Coaches as well.. IF we kept the same roster but somehow the coach he miraculously stole from the college ranks managed to get 52-55 wins and say a 3 seed out of it  and managed to turn Brown into a ROY - what would have been wrong with that?

Everybody on this board that hated on Danny for his draft and not doing the butler trade and giving up half our team now are you ****ing? He has had a vision four years ago and built it with a young coach and young players. He stuck to his guns knew he could go get an allstar and maybe land KD . It takes a process to build a team. He is doing it and he is one of the best in the game at it. Proud to call myself a Celtic fan.

Everybody?  I think it's just a handful of people on this board.

No.  I was at the draft party.  The owner of the team was jeered by almost the entire body of people.  They were booing not because of the pick, but because of all the "rumors" that people were tweeting about our intention to package picks/players for Butler or Okafor/Noel.

When it comes specifically to Bulter, the OP has a good point.  We would have gutted the team in the "rumored" trade proposals that were out there.  That move would not have necessarily made us any better nor would it have made Durant any more likely to sign here.  Ever.

Instead, Danny one-ups the people who booed Wyc and cried on this board/sports-radio.  We get an All-Star PF/C, one who Durant openly lobbied for, and we give up NOTHING on our roster or any of our draft picks.

It is a no-brainer move and people who criticized him can eat it.
