That crossover by Dunn and the subsequent crowd reaction is the perfect example of why the average fan is a total moron. He broke the defenders ankles, missed the open jumper and the crowd reaction was crazier than the reaction for Roziers buzzer beater.

Las Vegas summer league is also a different beast than utah, but I get what you are saying lol.

Lol what? The crowd was impressed by Dunn's handles and now they're all morons?

Besides, there's way more fans at Vegas than at Utah. I mean, it's Utah. Cmon.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Fair point. The average fan in Vegas probably has 1 or 2 more drinks in them that the average fan in SLC, haha.

You are a little more fair than I lol. Also that fredette shot from the floor should have counted. That's really hard to do in 1 attempt haha.

Everyone is raving about Dunn on Hoopyshype. Bill Simmons recently said Brown is going to give him a drinking problem for the next 10 years.

I was so vocal about selecting Dunn and trading Smart yesterday. It's going to royally suck if he turns out to be a stud.

I wouldn't put much thought into it. It's summer league. Chill out. I bet that if Smart is playing in the SL this year, he would take Dunn's lunch

I realize that I'm probably the only one on here watching the Raptors-Kings game, lol, but you guys would have really liked Pascal Siakam, already.  Sigh.

I just keep reminding myself that we are in year #3 of Kyle Anderson looking like Magic Johnson during summer league. You obviously never want our guys to look bad in SL, but what we are watching is a far cry from regular season ball. Especially the defensive execution.

And if that did happen, Dunn would then take Smart's ;).

I was so vocal about selecting Dunn and trading Smart yesterday. It's going to royally suck if he turns out to be a stud.

I was also vocal about taking Dunn - either as a trade chip or a player, but Brown was my 2nd fave player (still wasn't happy with the selection at the time since I wanted a trade, but am satisfied now).

Anyway, Dunn should be better the Brown - he is a tall, strong, explosive PG playing in summer league who just finished his senior season. It's really no question who should be farther along in his development, but Brown's potential is off the charts.

Celtics was undefeated last year with Smart on the court. Dunn already had a loss in his first game. Granted, it doesn't tell the whole story.

I wouldn't count on it.  Smart sucked in Summer league both times he played in it.

For those who were desperate to get Dunn, this game is going to irk them.  But they should be reminded that Dunn will be turning 23 years old during his rookie season.  He spent several years playing College ball.   Don't compare him to Brown (a 19 year old a year removed from High School).  It's a waste of time.
