One downside of landing KD will be the return of all the celtics bandwagon fans....not looking forward to that.

True that. We've been here through the entire rebuild.

They will lose Westbrook next season. There is not enough on the roster now to win the title

I find myself rooting for him NOT going to Golden State over coming to the Celtics...which I know I know, is weird.  But I'm trying really hard to keep my feet on the ground and stay level-headed about the chances the Cs realistically have at this.

And with all the ESPN media seeming to bank on him going to Golden State, it makes me extremely upset.  Please, just not Golden State.  Admittedly, it'll be hard take your eyes off the TV with a Warrior team that also has Kevin Durant, but the league screams for parody, and there is absolutely NO parody involved in the 2nd or 3rd best player in the world joining a 73-win team.  If David Stern were still commissioner, he'd find some way in some loophole somewhere to void that deal from happening.

By now I have grown tired of looking at Mike Conley's face on The Players Tribune' twitter page. Hopefully they will publish the news soon so I can get on with my life.
big winner in all of this is Mike Conley.  150 million dollar contract and he inexplicably ends up with the highest page views ever on players tribune - passing lebron's Cleveland open letter.

Lol

We just want a chance and we have it all you can ask for

Yeah I'm happy with the Celtics. Just would be very difficult to build a team that can beat the Warriors with Durant. I don't know what the league would do if that happens. Would Lebron go call some of his buddies?

Most likely Lebron would go to Golden State ...

If KD goes to Golden State I'll cheer my heart out for LeBron to come to Boston.  I'll let bygones be bygones.

What happened to your source from last night? I thought you said it was a done deal?

My source was off, which I clarified later.  He'd heard that KD was having a Player's Tribune piece about the Celtics written, but there was actually one for the different teams.  Still confident, but thinks it's between Boston and OKC.  KD wasn't ready to make his decision last night.  He's torn.

Thanks... Someone posted in another thread he's pushing it to noon

Dude why do people not get he's kidding. He has no sources. Saltlover, you gotta stop trolling, people actually believe you.

Broussard's entire segment...the words "Boston" and "Celtics" were not spoken.

He hates Boston ,  like all the liberal TV media .....it all about LA or NY

They love guys that dig the " Show Time " Kardashian garbage ,  tabloid heros .......

Real Sport stars who play for none TV Hollywood media are ignored ........the news about anything other than LA , NY or Miami .......they ignore ......teams that are followed my the stupid masses.

Totally I agree, ESPN is a circus and a monopolius. I hate them, I still remember when they say that C's of Big Three were olds. Is incredible, I am fan of Iverson, they said that ai doesn't to be HOF. They hate to the Celtics, they want good boys, Curry, Thompson and company.

@Chris_Broussard is leaning toward the thought that KD is gonna sign with the Warriors 👀✊🏻🤔
I would like to see Broussard at a loss for words.

im not sure there's ever been a moment in history where a single decision could instantly change my feelings about someone so wildly.   I've loved Durant for years.  I watched his first game ever in Seattle in person and cheered loudly for every bucket.  I've always wanted to root even harder for the guy, but I've despised Oklahoma management since they robbed that team from Seattle - and couldn't bring myself to cheer for them in the playoffs.

If he goes to golden state - I'll lose all respect for him and want desperately for him to fail.

If he goes to Boston - I'm buyin all the KD merch and potentially getting a tattoo of him on my face.
