I just want to say everything that has come about Durant being interested in GS has come from the team. From what I've read, the source is coming from the teams and no one has yet to obtain a source from Durant and his team.

So all in all, take everything with a grain of salt. No one has any idea what Durant's decisions will be.

Ugh Blakely... It's over then

I mean, Blakely and Forsberg are about as reliable as Royce Young, the OKC guy who started the rumor that it's between OKC and GS, so take it for what it's worth.

Love this quote from KD from 2010:

Joining Golden State would be 10x more anti-competitive than what LeBron did in 2010.  I'll lose all respect for KD if he does that.

Haha someone posted that earlier and you just know he'd get eaten alive by this hypocrisy if he did that lol

Seriously, every C's fan should retweet this to KD or some media blowhard.  They'll run with this!!

Seriously, every single person on here with Twitter should tweet this at KD!

I did too!

Retweeted it to him as well.

I swear, people need to let KD know how much he'll be hated if he joins with GSW. Let yourself be heard now while you can still potentially make a difference! Don't complain later after the ink dries!

like usual he says nothing

Welp you're wrong on that part. Don't know if it's true, but he def said something.

"However, a league source with intimate knowledge of Boston’s thinking in regards to Durant as well as another league source, both told CSNNE.com that Boston’s pitch to Durant this weekend was good enough to where he’s "seriously considering" the Celtics right now as opposed to down the road."

It's honestly amazing that he still has his job in such a knowledgable, high profile, passionate sports city like Boston.

The truth is we have no idea. We'll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out. The honest truth is I don't think this Royse White guy is any more credible than Blakely. All this info and misinformation has been coming from the teams. Remember, Durant was "blown away" by the Clippers.

I almost wonder if this GSW stuff has been leaked out there to judge public reaction. We havent heard anything about the celtics other than "he likes the horford signing" and that OKC wanted to go hard at horford to keep durant.

I think it's the media just playing dumb per usual.   Or sadly people are that dumb. Whatever drives ratings though.

Most of the reporters don't know.  Don't even try to know so they just try to get their story and spin on it.

It's probably because they are all shallow minded and are star struck by the likes of Westbrook and Curry, but it sure feels like they hate us.

In this case I honestly think Durant hasn't announced his decision and people don't know.  They are just reporting what they hear.  Then they put their own spin on it sometimes which  usually shows their lack of intelligence in other facets.  They might be intelligent as far as sheep go.  They are doing their jobs I guess and have a knack and nitch for certain things that make them money. Whether they are really trying to get to the story is something else.

David Aldridge for example if you notice how he reports he usually goes for the obvious and b ig stories.  Woj will try to get some of the smaller details that are accurate.  They are two of the more reliable ones but they are more just masters at their nitch.

I agree that people don't know.  Why would he keep leaking his feelings on the matter?  I suspect there is a very small circle he's bouncing his thoughts off of and none of them are running to the media or are passing on the info. My guess is he's made up his mind to leave OKC and is crafting a carefully worded explanation so that he doesn't anger his fans like Lebron did or he really is sleeping on it.

A lot of these people are just providing a service.  Some are better than others. Have more integrity to try to get to the truth and are honest about it. Some have biases. Some just do stuff for attention.

The reporting isn't terrible.  It's kind of cool that we get all this up to the minute stuff but at the same time I'd be fine with the real meat of the story.   I'm a consumer here and don't overly like that.  If i was a reporter I'd try to get to mre of what really is going on too.

Some of them do this.  I'm not saying they are all bad o r anything.  Just human and different people. Some of them are kind of crappy though.

I don't know either and I'm not even there or in some of these reporters positions.  I'm just trying to make sense of it myself.

Most reporters are only allowed certain information themselves.  Some of the more trusted ones might be able to get better information.

Seems like Bulpett was the first to insist the decision would be tomorrow when others were sticking to the general 24-36 hour original timeline or expecting an announcement tonight.

Does it mean anything that a Boston guy had the more specific timing right first?
