Royce Young says:

From what I understand, it's Thunder versus Warriors for Durant.

Royce Young is a Thunder guy isn't he? He was bashing the Celtics yesterday for bringing Tom Brady, so I'm guessing he's not that objective.

That's true.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I almost wonder if this GSW stuff has been leaked out there to judge public reaction. We havent heard anything about the celtics other than "he likes the horford signing" and that OKC wanted to go hard at horford to keep durant.

I think it's the media just playing dumb per usual.   Or sadly people are that dumb. Whatever drives ratings though.

Most of the reporters don't know.  Don't even try to know or understand,  so we just get their story and spin on it.

It sounds to me like the OKC writers are spiteful at Boston for stealing Horford from them and bringing Brady to the meeting. They can rationalize Durant going to GS because GS is statistically better than the Thunder, but they can't fathom losing Durant to Boston, but I think they are secretly worried about it.

It's probably because they are all shallow minded and are star struck by the likes of Westbrook and Curry, but it sure feels like they hate us.

Is he really gonna "sleep on" returning to OKC? Doesn't really make sense.

Does he really want to play under Steph's light? Under the guy who's an Under Armor dude? With not nearly enough touches to go around and no supporting cast? Doubt it.

It only makes sense that it's us.

Its pretty sad that most of you here had hated Danny Ainge for not trading pick #3 and had been asking him to be fired. He goes and signs AL Horford and all of a sudden he's a great GM when you wanted him fired just last week ? Lol.

I've always liked Ainge, he's a really good GM and he can make moves not a lot of other people out there can. I don't think Durant is coming to Boston but I would like to be proven wrong. I can't see signing Horford that much of a success without getting Durant but it will be easier to get another free agent in here next year like some other blogger said. So I tip my hat to Danny like I always have.

In this case I honestly think Durant hasn't announced his decision and people don't know.  They are just reporting what they hear.  Then they put their own spin on it sometimes which  usually shows their lack of intelligence in other facets.  They might be intelligent as far as sheep go.  They are doing their jobs I guess and have a knack and nitch for certain things that make them money. Whether they are really trying to get to the story is something else.

David Aldridge for example if you notice how he reports he usually goes for the obvious and b ig stories.  Woj will try to get some of the smaller details that are accurate.  They are two of the more reliable ones but they are more just masters at their nitch. Chad Ford is the same thing. He'll give you a general consensus on things but as far as intelligently deciphering it for each individual situation he's out in left field.

Sleeping on it means we're in the mix.  Didn't we just go through this yesterday with horford?

All this Bleacher Report stuff saying it's between OKC and GS is based on the Royce Young report, who once again is an OKC guy that was bashing the C's yesterday. It's like a Kyle Draper report. It's nothing serious.

I agree that people don't know.  Why would he keep leaking his feelings on the matter?  I suspect there is a very small circle he's bouncing his thoughts off of and none of them are running to the media or are passing on the info. My guess is he's made up his mind to leave OKC and is crafting a carefully worded explanation so that he doesn't anger his fans like Lebron did or he really is sleeping on it.
