Nothing is decided. He could return to OKC, and he did like BOS adding Horford. But he is seriously considering GS. https://t.co/O0faz6mPxD
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

This is such a torture. I am at 21.30 PM, european time and really hope just Durant releases my nerves and decide in the next 2.5h, otherwise i'll be f*cked up at work tomorrow, no way I can sleep with all this going on.... Had the same problem in the first couple of days of FA.

Tell your boss it's 4th of July -- take tomorrow off!  Claim your NBA allegiance requires  you to celebrate all American holidays.

Hearing Kevin Durant is strongly considering Warriors. He meets Thunder tonight, then he's likely to announce decision on @PlayersTribune.

Alex kennedy

That would be awful for him, for us , and for the league! I'm ok with him staying in OKC , but chasing the Warriors would be a disaster.

Just don't see it, and it will justifiably change his status across the league. He'd essentially be ring-chasing in his prime at this point.

I can understand OKC being that's what he calls home now, though I don't see him making it to the Finals or certainly winning a title any time soon there.

However, he'd essentially lose his place as a top-3 player in the league by going to GS. That'd be just an absolute terrible decision for him and his legacy. And the crazy part is we just went through this with Lebron not too long ago, so he knows all the negative feedback that he'll get by doing that!

I would be just shocked if Durant went to the Warriors. There are many reasons why I think he won't, but above all, it comes down to business. The NBA is a business, as the cliche goes. Nike is paying Durant more money than any of these franchises. How will they feel if he becomes the Robin to Under Armour's Batman?

This is starting to remind me of LeBron leaving Miami. Stuff like this started leaking out before hand.

First we won't know until tomorrow. Second, I think I'm going to go puke. I can't believe Durant would consider teaming up with Curry. Would definitely be the most hated team in the NBA.

Why would he pick warriors over okc when okc nearly beat them last year. Just take another shot with okc if that's the case.

And if he's announcing it on the Player's Tribune, what is he going to say? lol

"Uh, well, I couldn't do it on my own, and since the Splash Bros and Green and the best regular teams ever couldn't do it either, I figured better team up with them to take down the big, bad monster that is Lebron!"

Yeah, I seriously, seriously can not just see him doing this. He is too smart, too proud (in a good way), and too business-savvy to do something like this. He could very well return to OKC, since most free agents stay with their current teams; however, changing teams to share shots and be a second or even third fiddle to a two-time reigning MVP on a team that just completed the greatest regular season of all time with three All-Stars is just asinine, all things considered.

Yeah it's crazy and messed up to his teammate Westbrook. Better off playing another year and then deciding after Westbrook makes his decision.

There were leaks before the Decision was on TV. LBJ's camp leaked it in the morning so it would ease the reaction.

That's another thing. The Warriors were legitimately "America's team" last year, but they will overnight become the villains this way.

Also, think of what will happen if they DON'T win the title next year if he goes there. Both Durant and Steph would have ruined their legacies, and all of them would be mere mortals compared to the god Lebron.

I think that's what makes me even more mad about this. This will just prop up Lebron even more that the rest of the league has to try and team up to beat him.
