So the 4th team that Al met with was a "mystery team." Interesting.

Has to be OKC.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

if we dont get durant i really dont care about horford.

do we really want 34 year old al horford here without Durant or some other top 5 player?

Contract year 1 is Horford's age 30 season.
Contract year 2 is Horford's age 31 season.
Contract year 3 is Horford's age 32 season.
Contract year 4 is Horford's age 33 season.

Has to be OKC.

But their interest is well-reported. It sounds like this is a dark horse team.

That would make some sense, but I think their interest has been acknowledged as well.

Stop getting your hopes up fellas, horford is not coming to Boston. If he was, we would of signed him tonight. That's a pretty heafty offer we gave him n he did not bite. His decision is made and its not Boston. Sorry to say that all your fears are true, Boston really can't bring in a top free agent. Durant is not coming either. I will guarantee that Al Horford signs with OKC. He's following Durant n Westbrook. I've been trying to tell u guys not to get your hopes up. We have to build through the draft. Only way to get guys here is to trap them here by trade (Ray Allen/Kevin Garnett) or draft them. I'm a little upset to. Its sucks we can't just sign Al Horford to a Max contract but players don't like Boston for some reason. Durant is gonna be the same way. Look, we don't have the superstar talent to attract Horford. He's already 30 n wants a ring. Durant's staying in OKC so Al don't wanna be the lone all star on the team. Yeah u got IT but that's it. If I were Horford, I'd choose OKC to. Durant n Westbrook outweigh IT. Sorry but its the sad truth.

Have to agree ...that's the way I think it's going to go down too......only the remote slim chance KD goes to,Clippers gives Boston a chance for Horford.
KD always has GS waiting to put a ring on his finger .....I think he ll run it back once more , if no title ....him and Westbrooke split.

KD has it made no matter what .

On NBA TV, David Aldridge said the Celtics made a "strong presentation" for Al Horford. Whatever that means.

Dallas?  I realize that this is out of left field, but they did just whiff on Whiteside.

That's certainly a good guess. Dallas, Detroit, and Minnesota are the best guesses I've heard thus far.

This is so frustrating. Who does this scrub think he is? Just pull the max offer. Seriously. He's clearly using us as leverage. He wants to stay with the Hawks so he can get his stupid 5th year. Yeesh.

Hawks have yet to offer the full max to Al Horford, per sources. https://t.co/IOqlvTCE5U

Come ON dude! Just take our offer!

I don't even get this. How can Atlanta offer him the max? They don't have the cap!?!?! They would have to deal Milsap to keep Horford. Nothing is making sense. And does Horford not have any pride? They just signed Howard to your old position dude. Seriously, he is not worth waiting for. I mean who does he think he is?

Portland has tons of cap space .......that would suck to loose Horford to Evan Turner ... ;D
