I think Crowder only gets traded if something big were to come up... still have an entire summer where dominos can fall... Love, Butler, Cousins..

Crowder's value is at an all time high... he just missed all defensive team, shows he can hit clutch shots, and has an amazing contract coming into a new CBA... along with Bradley and IT if a situation happened and a player was to be traded the Celtics do have the pieces to trade... problem is the trade market is not skyrocketing right now.. Teams rather keep great players on current contracts

Down the road, yes ... a long long way down the road.

Jaylen Brown is too raw to force his way ahead of Crowder for at least a few years.

 No. Rejoice we have two quality 6'6" SF's. That's crucial to winning right now. We were screwed when Crowder got hurt last year.

It does not.  Brad Stevens would like more Jae Crowders on his team.  If Brown develops and becomes a better version of Crowder, all the better for Brad.

This. And they're both strong guys who can be small-ball 4's. That potentially makes them a great tandem, in my mind.

Taking small-ball to a whole new level, huh? I think the big teams would absolutely kill us in boards playing that small, though it'd probably help our offense more.

Crowder is 6'6, 240. He's shown _some_ ability to play PF, and he can probably has enough strength to body up PFs. But yes, it's a risky proposition.

I'm optimistic about Brown, but his only 19.  It's going to take some time for him to develop.  And I don't see why they can't play on the court together.  They both have defensive versatility.

I think Rozier is insurance for if/when IT up for new contract.
