I voted no.
Are we sure Covington is better than Jerebko? What would Jerebko's numbers have been on Philly last season? If Covington is better, is he that much better?
That leaves Noel, 22, and 24 for the #3. 22 and 24 are basically useless to the Celtics right now unless they had some other deal on the table with a team that really wanted 3-4 more draft picks. What were they going to do, draft 2 more guys to stash overseas? Put out half of team of guys who aren't old enough to drink yet?
So, to me, that makes the bones of this deal Noel for #3 and that's an overpay.
In a vacuum, Noel, Covington, 22, and 24 is decent value for the #3 pick but with the Celtics situation I think it's a bad deal. Especially now that Philly wasn't able to ship out either Noel or Okafor and we can probably get Noel for much cheaper later this summer.
