We just drafted a SF who could maybe slide into the 4 or 2, but primarily, he is a 3. Crowder, additionally, is best as a 3. I doubt Durant will want to play 4, but now we have 2 SFs competing for time unless we're going to send Brown to the D-League (no chance).

Unless there's a deal coming - and rumors are that they're keeping Jaylen - we are very short in the frontcourt and pretty stacked everywhere else. What do you guys think are our objectives going forward with FA? Are we still in the Durant pursuit?

Trading for Butler was always a precondition for the Durant pursuit. It's now dead.

I'm sure we will still pursue KD but this is probably the last team that he would go to that could pay him.

Why would he want to come to a rebuilding team? I don't think he can wait until 2019-2020 for our projects either.

I don't think it effects the Durant pursuit at all.  If anything, it makes Crowder more disposable in a trade for another player, but it won't effect Durant.  If you have a chance at a top 5 player, you take it, you don't say, "Yeah but we have some young guys at that spot, so we'll pass"

Trading for Butler was always a precondition for the Durant pursuit. It's now dead.

Source?
I'm bitter.

I don't think it says much of anything, Danny took BPA. On the note of where Jaylen will play, I expect him to log minutes at 1-4 on both sides of the ball.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
