Don't see a Durant, Derozen, Howard or Horford coming here now

Big men to target

Whiteside
Biyombo
Noah
Pau
Zaza

I think we have a decent shot at signing one of them

Shooters/ wings to target

Batum
Fournier
Ryan Anderson
Parsons
Teletovic

Would be happy with one of whiteside/ biyombo. Batum would be a huge help if we plan on playing small ball.

Or could give noah or pau big money for a year or to so we can maintain flexibility for next year. Deals like amir and jerebko got.

Of that whole list the only guy id be interested in is Whiteside. I don't care how many regular season games we win. I just want to contend.

I'm willing to wait a lot of years if that's what it takes.

Based on last night's draft - you got your wish.

We should let Turner go, and give his minutes to Jaylen, let Sully and Zeller go because they're terrible, and retain Amir and Jonas. We should then go after a starting center.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I thought the draft was a way to consolidate and get better so that someone like Durant could see the C's as a step away from the ECF. But in not doing so, it makes it IMO, VERY HARD, for someone like Durant to come here. I think this was our Big chance and Danny blew it.

Kent Bazemore is someone to look at.

Then, if we're striking out on big names, stack the roster with value/system guys and go with the strength in numbers route.

I don't think we ever had a shot at Durant but I agree that last night definitely wouldn't have helped.

I just don't want to sign guys to build s team to win 1 or 2 games from Cleveland. No interest in being an also ran . I'd rather be in the lottery.

I think Horford is still in play as is Barnes in a S&T and Love in a regular trade.

Guys who will accept the "Amir Johnson" second-year non-guaranteed contract. If Danny was interested in tying up cap space for 2nd-tier guys who filled immediate needs, he would have traded some draft picks for guys like Thaddeus Young.

I would not be surprised to see us paying guys like say... Dontas Montejunas or Ian Mahimi  two-year max deals with the 2nd year unguaranteed, overpaying in the short term just so we can stay flexible.

That's exactly what will happen again. Just rather develop players at this point.

No minutes available on the perimeter. I don't see where any of those guys can fit in.

Playing time only available at PF or C. So I think they are the targets.

That is a really disappointing list of players. Maybe they should go back to the trade board. Trade one of those perimeter guys and sign Batum or Conley to replace whoever leaves. I like those guys more than I like any of those big men.

Seems they have to or should sign a quality big guy.

Whiteside
Horford
Howard
Gasol

I like Biyombo in small doses, but don't see him as a max deal kind of guy. Not high on Ezeli.

Does Mozgov have anything left? Mahinmi looked pretty decent in his first chance at real minutes last year. Jordan Hill as a backup if we let Zeller and Sullinger both go?

If they want to get a wing and trade away Bradley/Smart, could see them throwing a contract at Batum or Beal.

Very underrated.  He always kills us too, so maybe I'm biased about him because of that.
