But does Dudley do anything else? Does he play defense? He could be a good cheerleader on the bench and play some important minutes occasionally like Jefferson on Cleveland but frankly I don't think it helps us win 1 more game than without him.

Dudley is a solid defender, and he's an excellent leadership presence to have around the team.

I'll start.

1. Pick up the options of Amir Johnson and Jonas Jerebko
2. Let go of Jared Sullinger and Tyler Zeller
3. Re-Sign Evan Turner for 4 years/40M (Team Option 4th Year)
4. Sign Jared Dudley for 3 Years/20M
      - Bench scorer; 3 pt. sharpshooter; Versatile, can play SG, SF, PF if needed)
5. Sign Joakim Noah on an Amir-like deal for 2 Years/25M (non guaranteed second year)

PG: Isaiah/Smart/Rozier
SG: Bradley/Turner/Hunter
SF: Crowder/Dudley/Brown
PF: Amir/Olynyk/Jerebko/Bentil
C: Noah/Mickey

Cap Space: We still would have an extra 20M in cap space after making these signings, and with some $$$ going out in 2017 after Amir and Jerebko are free agents next season and the cap rising after next season by another 15-20M, we still have tons of cap flexibility for future years.

I'm hoping Turner takes a bit of a hometown discount to stay with us. He supposedly does not like Rose and with Rose now in NYK it's less likely he goes there. We'll see though.

So yeah I'm not expecting fireworks this offseason or any max-signings.

What do you guys think will happen in FA? I'd love to hear your predictions  :D

Is Yabusele a stash international?

Are you saying cut Young, Jackson, Nader?

You could slot Young as a depth SF off the bench.

Yabu is reportedly a stash, and Nader is a D-League stash who probably will never play in the NBA.
D-League Stash???? You either need to sign him or he is available for all 30 teams in the League is my understanding. So essentially you are cutting him. Same with D Jackson.

Slot Young? Are we seriously thinking he will EVER contribute in the NBA?

Honestly, unless we get a Noel trade or something like that, we should just go small with this roster with IT, Bradley, Brown, Crowder, and Amir. I cringe thinking about giving starter minutes to soft ole Kelly, and if we're going to invest in Brown, I want him to actually be utilized and get enough playing time to develop. I don't want another Smart situation where we're giving Turner and Rozier ball-handling duties and trying to make him into something that he's not - a spot-up shooter.

Honestly I think the Noel ship has fully sailed now. Philly aren't trading him unless they get a Bradley in return anymore so I pass.

If they are willing to take Rozier + filler then sure.

He can contribute. Just not for the first few games.

You realize that "roster" outlook I created is just for the first NBA game, obviously a lot can happen once injuries hit and we see how everyone plays.

I haven't given up on Young yet but right now there are others I would play before him.

I'm not exactly sure how it works, but it was reported that Nader agreed to be stashed in the D-league.

My  point is that you have 15 roster spots and you need to trim down the 20 players we are connected to now. You can't keep Young as a 16th guy.

My prediction is that we trade Young for a future 2nd or cut him. International stash for Yabusele, Bentil and Nader. Jackson, Brown, and Zizic are on next years roster.

This would allow for some of the trading and FA's to work.

As long as players are signed to a contract in a professional league (which the D-League is), we maintain their rights.  After any pro contracts end, they can sign another one with any team in any league, and we still keep their rights.  We only lose them if they go a full year not under contract
I'm bitter.

If we sign him, he takes up a roster spot and we would lose his rights if we cut him,  He'll sign with a D-league team and we'll retain his rights, just like with a draft-and-stash in any other pro league
I'm bitter.

I wasn't all aboard the Jaylen Brown train, but since we've got him now, I don't see why we should or would bury him behind Evan Turner and Jared Dudley on the depth chart.

I can say with 100 percent certainty, neither of them will develop into superstars or be the leaders of a championship team.

I don't think Ainge will want to let Sullinger just go without any value - I predict Danny will try to work a sign-and-trade, hopefully for someone like Ryan Anderson.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I would be fine with adding Noah and Dudley on short deals then chasing Hayward, Ibaka or Blake in FA in 2017.

People need to be patient and let our draft picks develop.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Please throw brown into the fire. I don't want to see another Marcus smart situation with turner taking the pg minutes. We're not close anyways.
