So I've heard a few media types saying Brown's shot is broke and looks different every time coming off his hands. Can anyone think of a bad shooter that became a good outside shooter in the NBA?

Leonard, bradley

Leonard still has a mechanical jump shot. Cant really dribble stop and pop fluidly

As long as brown can make the open jump shot his other skills will shine brighter.

Brown compares well to derozan imo

I thought those guys had consistent form though ? When they were saying he shoots the ball differently 5 times in a row I cringed.

We'll see. Danny will be proving a ton of people wrong if he nailed this one.

Him with Isiah Thomas (the Bad Boy). Love the way his shot looks from a form perspective. Very compact, high release, fundamentally sound shot. It's not broken at all.

Yeah, I don't think his shot is broken at all.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Cal alum Jason Kidd is the one they typically talk about.

Not worried about Jaylen Brown. He's coming to the right team with the right coaches, with the right skill set and attitude. He's capable and willing.

His form looks good to me. I think his issue was his footwork, he doesn't always go straight up and doesn't have his feet in the same place consistently when he shoots. This should be cleaned up with repetition.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yeah, I did notice that too. He also has them a bit too close, when ideally it should be shoulder width apart for greater balance.

I think the biggest issue is people grading him after just 1 yr of college stats. The great shooter Buddy Hield shot what his frosh season ?

38% FG, 24% 3-pt, Averaged 25 minutes per game.

Brown ?

43 % & 29%, in 27 minutes.
