I saw a comment on CelticsLife a few days ago that said that if we draft Brown, the theme song/intro music for the season should be 'Brick House' ahaha ;D. Priceless.

In high school, we came out to "It's raining men." Wish I could say it wasn't my decision ,but...

I don't really like this pick
As I thought Dunn would be a better player

Though I saw it as choosing between Dunn and brown
And brown did have the better fit
I'm just worried of a potential jeff green scenario where he has all the athleticism and physical tools to succeed but never becomes a star as he hasn't mastered any one skill

Pretty good article from a few days ago weighing the pros and cons of Boston drafting Jaylen Brown:  http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/celtics/post/_/id/4723335/not-the-model-choice-would-celtics-roll-dice-with-jaylen-brown

Tons of red flags, but he had great workouts and might have a high ceiling despite the fact that "multiple computer models suggest Brown will struggle to make an impact at the next level."

Basically, if you're a stat head, everything points to him being a bust.  But there's raw athleticism there.

Interesting considering how analytical the Celtics are
Welp... have we successfully drafted any stars using advanced stats and computer models?  Our last major pick, Marcus Smart, looks like a long-term role player.  Maybe they decided to just take a guy based on the eye test this time.

If so, they need to get their eyes checked, lol ;D.

That same projection model has Ben Simmons as the second highest potential. The model is broken.
Read the article.  Wasn't just one model.  It was multiple different models all that suggested he'll be a poor NBA player.  It was an article about Boston potentially drafting him in spite of several computer models advising against it.

The positive is that he's got an NBA body at age 19 and has a high work ethic.  Article suggests he could be Stanley Johnson without an ability to make shots.

Lol, what the hell is that supposed to mean, and what kind of player is that?  Winslow?

We have to trust Brad Stevens here. He coaches this team so he knows what the team needs. This is pretty much his pick so let's just roll with it.

You guys are always so negative here. Hey, just because Danny didn't make a trade its not the end of the world. Jaylen will be one of the best players out of this draft. Give him time. We still got FA ahead of us and I can see us going hard for Ryan Anderson. This team should win 50-55 games next year and reach the 2nd round
