Ehh, I trust Danny. I would've taken Bender over Brown, but I'm fine with Jaylen. I understand why he took Yabusele, but I would've gone with Luwawu or Korkmaz. I'm very happy with Zizic at #23. Danny did a fantastic job in the second round. Overall, I'm content, a B or B+ draft IMO.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

My revised draft you never would have believed we could have drafted all these Studs.

 3 Jamal Murray
16 Henry Ellenson
23 Ante Zizic
31 Deyonta Davis
35 Diamond Stone
45 Kay Felder
51 Ben Bentil
58 Isaiah Cousins

That's a nice draft hual. Gonna have to cut or stash Ainge nice players.

Taurean Prince went twelve, which was way to high IMO, Solid player but low Upside.

The best part of this all is that Brown is getting crucified tonight as a bust. Come the Summer League, he'll have some great games and half the board will dub him the next Michael Jordan.

Knowing what we know now, or before, because if it's the former, and without trades -

3 - Kris Dunn
16 - Caris Levert
23 - Pascal Siakam
31 - Malcolm Brogdon
35 - Ben Bentil
45 - Michael Gbinije
51- Gary Payton II
58 - Sheldon McClellan

I thought Demetrius Jackson would go in the first round, so that was surprising, to say the least, and the same goes for Bentil, imo.

Edit: Jackson at 45 instead of Gbinije.  Why in the world was Demetrius still available?

3-  Bender
16- Work to trade up to get Valentine..otherwise Baldwin-we would have to eat the salaries of one or two of the rookie guards.
23- Zizic
31-Deyonta
35-Yabusele
45-Jackson

First of all I would have been in a better position to make the BPA pick because I wouldn't have fudged up the Terry Rozier pick last year, so I wouldn't have been looking at the same glut of guards.

Did Danny admit that Jaylen Brown was not the BPA, but fitted our team needs better?

Because from what I remember he's the biggest fan of the BPA approach.
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."- Paul Pierce

And he did finish...

Someone needs to tell him that our bigs stink, we could have used more help there.  And by saying this I am not endorsing Bender, who I think did not merit where he was picked.

I WOULD'VE TRADED FOR NOEL AND COVINGTON. THE KNICKS, PACERS, AND MAGIC ALL DID THEIR JOBS AS EXECUTIVES BETTER THAN DANNY AINGE. COOL PICKS! SO SAVVY! THAT DRAFT WAS AN ABOMINATION. PEOPLE COMPLAIN 365 DAYS HERE, MAKE UP ABSURD TRADES, ET CETERA. THIS IS AN ACTUAL REASON TO BE UPSET.

I really like the combination of players DA drafted. The only thing I way have done differently was grab Ellenson at #16 but I really like Yabusele. I think this came down to the defensive end where despite being 275lbs I think Yabusele will be an asset. I was blown away that the Cs where able to land Jackson in the late 2nd he and Bentil where both really nice value picks. Zizic will also be a very nice rotation addition down the road.

I don't know. I'm good with the Brown pick. If he develops a half way descent shot, i think he can be really good.  Okay with next two I guess. Never seen either one play.
I really would have liked them to keep 31 and take a shot at Davis. Some mocks had him in the lottery. I kind of thought #31 was one of the best positions in the draft, and to trade that with 35 for a protected pick in 2019 was disappointing.
Oh well, time to start dreaming about FA signings I guess.

You know which wing can give you 14 points and 7 rebounds a night? He shoots threes, gives you 1.7 steals a game, and can play some 4. His name is Robert Covington. He would've came with a Center. But we took Jaylen Brown... cool.
