It was just another young guy that probably won't pan out because Danny picked him.

Yeah clearly you're a reasonable person.

Oh I'm sorry. I forgot about Danny Ainge's stellar drafting record there.

Who got traded worth the third pick?

I would've done Noel and Covington. Noel has shown that he has DPOY-type potential. We instead took a guy who is more of an athlete than a basketball player.

We also could've had Chriss for peanuts, who has just as high of a ceiling as Brown and is just as much of a project.

Hell, at this point I would've done 16 for Young easily.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Stop with the logic you're ruining the fun.  Lets go back to twitter rumors.

You do realize that his question is just barely relevant, and clearly not conclusive with regards to how things went down, right?

An intelligent Celtic fan is hard to find.  The worst part of being a Celtics fan is other Celtics fans.  Danny Ainge is killing this draft.

And would've been a free agent next year.

What do you know about how anything went down?  Again, it's all based on twitter rumors that have been completely conflicting both ways.  The certainty with which you guys try to talk about stuff you know nothing about is almost admirable.  I wish I had the confidence.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
The sky is falling!
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

The trades that happened tonight aren't twitter rumors. They are real actual trades that really happened. Some teams did very well tonight. The Celtics aren't one of them.

I like the old school owners who spoke only when we won the title.   I don't know the validity of any of these claims but Wyc does run his mouth and feels the need to make excuses.   Tonight the firework comments in the past are great examples.   He has that right as the owner but it does not serve the team that well.

Aren't you the one who just said Thad Young and Teague wouldn't have put us over?  You aren't making any sense.

Take the burr out of your saddle.
Calmly sit back down.
Actually read what I wrote.
Realize that you were just talking out of your backside.

No apology necessary, when you figure that out.
