After next year Danny can sign Noel outright, better not to give up assets for him now. Not in love with Browns inability to shoot but lets see what happens.

At some point though Danny has to draft players that can actually shoot, right?
He did hit 76 out of 100 in the 3 point drill at his workout. Only 3 less than Murray.

Time for people to get off Danny Ainge's experiment.  The guy has made more bad decisions than good.

I bet that most in this thread have not even seen Cal play this year.

He is heck in transition

Here he is against a good VA team that played D.

The difference being that Murray has proven he can do that in games while Brown hasn't.

You must be about 15 years old.

If you lived through the 90s, you realize how bad things can be. No playoffs. Bad teams. No hope. Trading away picks for marginal players.

Things right now are pretty [dang] awesome. 48 wins. Huge cap space. Massive number of draft picks so he can afford to swing for the fences on most every pick. Probable great picks in forthcoming years. The guy has brought us 1 NBA Championship and 1 other Finals visit. He just about doubled the win total over the last 2 years. Made the playoffs most years. Considered one of the best GMs in the league.

More bad than good? You must have never seen bad.

Yeah, fire Ainge! Let's bring back the good ole' Pitino days!
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

I don't get why people here love to jump the gun in judging these college players, we're not professional scouters, what makes you a better scouter than the ones in the NBA? Why can't you see them play first before judging?

You guys are probably the same type of people who hated the Porzingis trade and then ended up loving it because he's playing well.

I am not saying Brown is a sure thing, I love the kid but I will wait to see him play before judging

Fire Ainge! I have watched DraftExpress videos and believe I am better than him at this!

And you guys thought I was crazy a month back when I said Danny won't trade the pick. How crazy am I now ? How about when I tried to lay down a dose of reality on u and y'all kept hatin on me hard. I love this Jaylen Brown. The kid is our next Paul Pierce. 0 % chance at Durant and no Butler. Where are all them haterz at ? Lol

Some of you all are gonna eat some serious crow. At 3 Danny selected a guy who could potentially be the best player out of this draft, that literally is all you can ask for. There's no such thing as a sure thing.

It could have been worse.

It could have been Bender.

The pick does nothing, however, to cure the shooting problems this team has. Absolutely nothing. I can make 70 out of 100 3s myself and I'm in my 50s.

So now, we move on to the Aingeophiles trying to rehabilitate their boy's lousy drafting record.

As the poster pointed out above, if McHale and Presti hadn't been selling HOFers at pennies on the dollar in 2007, Ainge wouldn't have a job - anywhere but Boston, where the GM post apparently is like a Supreme Court appointment.

And Grousbeck looks like a fool again. Fireworks. BWAHAHA. Why anyone believes Wyc escapes me. Nothing but a huckster selling tickets to the rubes.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
