What jaylen brown means for the C's

I've learned never to criticize a pick because you might end up looking stupid in a few years.  Nobody available was THAT much better than Brown. Let the kid play first.

A guy who drive can provide looks for our shooters on kick outs and how many guys do we have that can score off the dribble?   It may help.

Offensive Ceiling: Second scoring option on a playoff team, 18-20 points per game, 47 percent shooting, 35 percent three-point shooting.

Offensive Floor: Third or fourth scoring option on a mediocre team, 11-13 points per game, 4o percent shooting, 30 percent three-point shooting.

Defensive Ceiling: Primary wing defender on his team, guards four positions, contender for All-Defensive team

Defensive Floor: Guards three positions, foul-prone, intermittent lapses

I know many think it was a reach where he was picked.   Ainge must have saw something he liked.

I still think we can get a big at 16 but will be ballistic if we don't not.  Ainge supposedly has a bunch of scenarios planned.

Currently, the SF position is where you find the superstars and competition. LeBron, KD, PGeorge,DeRozan, Melo, etc.

It means Ainge has a preference that barely changes.

You never know how it will pan out.  Fans booed pordingus last year.  Kedrick brown might end up being a really good player so I'm not bashing the pick, but it does seem like ainge consistently targets tough guys who can defend and hopes they can learn how to shoot.  Have we ever been successful in teaching a rondo how to shoot?

ainge doesn't see the point in trading down, I guess.  Rozier was projected late 1st and we reached on him as well.

Chicago was supposed to be after Dunn , but hearing Jaylen Brown talk about his workout with the Bulls and his one on one hour long game with Butler, and the props Butler gave him afterwards, yeah, I can see Chicago identifying Brown as their Butler replacement together with other pieces.
