I saw a rumor that the Lakers are willing to trade their 2nd pick to the Bulls for Butler. How would that affect Danny's thinking? Are the Bulls set to take Ingram if this trade were to go down? Would we then wait to see who the Bulls take in case they went with Dunn.

Just curious how this changes things.

Danny won't deal 3 without knowing who his options are. If Ingram falls, I think he holds off on a deal.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

It is very interesting. I wonder how true it is. I do think Butler is on the market, but the Bulls just want to make sure they get max value. I think they'll fall back on the Boston deal if it is still there.

But yeah, if they get #2 do they take Dunn?

Is there any chance the Bulls take Dunn over Ingram?
I see Ingram going #2 regardless of who drafts there.

PSA: This was generated by the hack who suggests we can get Middleton and Monroe for 16 and 23. Oxturd alert.

There's absolutely no traction to that rumor. But in the unlikely scenario that it happened and the Bulls took Dunn 2nd (rumored they want a PG-Dunn has star potential) and Ingram fell to third, that would be an amazing thing for the Celtics. Ingram reminds me of a Tayshaun Prince/Paul Pierce hybrid.

In almost all instances you wait until after the pick is made because of the Stepian rule basically stating that you must have a 1st round pick every other year.  It isn't a huge consideration for the C's this year because they have 3.  They probably wouldn't want to trade all of them this year though just to keep options open next year.

As for the Lakers offering the #2, if the Bulls want Dunn then there would be no reason to trade with the Lakers they would get their man at #3 from the C's plus more.  They would have to be sold on Ingram to trade with the Lakers.
