I believe these rumors to be true, because it's what I thought would happen anyways before it even happened.

Don't kill the messenger though.  Felger and Mazz are basically that too in this situation.  Their opinions are whacky sometimes is all.

They are reporting on what is being reported from legitament news sources.  Whether it's true or not is something else. But it's coming from that.
It seems they are reporting something that was generated by the same hack who suggested we're getting Middleton and Monroe for 16 and 23.

I think Butler is available for the right price.  I also think Okafor for the 3 is not enough by itself and they really want dunn so makes sense.

Butler might not be traded here, but I think he is available and we should continue to pursue him. I wouldn't make any shortsighted deals that would hurt our prospects there.

Those quacks couldn't give you an accurate report on the water trickling in their sink.

KC Johnson the Bulls beat reporter for the Tribune was on Collin Cowerd's show a few hours ago and didn't say anything about it.  He said the Bulls are building around Butler.  I would believe him over some rumor.

I remember watching Felger once and he literally admitted to knowing nothing about basketball and said he only watches the finals. Way to do your homework.

I so rarely agree with Koz, but in this case I'm right with him.

Those two jokers couldn't find their own ass with two hands and a search warrant.

But it's so easy. All they have to do is look in the mirror.  :o
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

It doesn't mean Butler is going to be traded, but Chicago is obviously at the very least listening to offers right now. Whether they are sincere is anyone's guess.  We'll find out.

Any good GM is going to listen and try to do what's best for their respective teams ultimately.

The Magic were in talks with the Bulls  and someone from the Magic said that he is available.  That was the report.

Felger didn't say it.  It was someone from the Magic.

My take is that this rumor has no legs and is mainly meant to put pressure on the Lakers at #2.  Why?  Simmons refused, thru his agent, several requests by Philly to come in for a private work out because he wants to be drafted by the Lakers (Showtime mystique + more marketing opportunities to make even bigger bucks than his salary).  Colangelo probably wants Clarkson to pair up with Dunn if the trade went down but the Lakers are offering Russell instead.

Where's David Stern when the league needs him to settle this for the overall "good of the league"?   8)

They were just reporting stein's report that philly is upping their offer for the #3, and that orlando was in talks for Butler and someone from Orlando said that he is available.

Simmons worked out for Philly this week and provided his medical records.  He's going to Philly.

This makes sense. Butler is the type of player you build around. They have lost most everybody else.

Half the stuff floating around right now is media frenzy.

One of my favorite things about Felger is that he pronounces Larry Bird as Lurry Bird, lol ;D.
