Tom Moore: #NBA source on Jahlil Okafor/Nerlens Noel: ‘I think everybody’s overvaluing those two guys. Jeff Teague is about the level you’re going to get for Nerlens Noel.’
And Teague was got for, basically, pick #12. I just saw this, too:

Market for Nerlens Noel seems to be far overstated by some. More likely he fetches a late lottery pick in a trade as opposed to top-5 pick.
If this is true, maybe we can get Noel for 16 and 23 and call it a day.

But...Noel is supposed to be this super Bill Russell/Dennis Rodman/Ben Wallace defender who is absolutely the sort of building block any team would want.  You're not telling me that playing two years for one of the worst NBA teams anyone has ever seen and demonstrating that he can't shoot a lick has possibly harmed his value as an asset, are you?

Gotta say... if Teague fetched #12 and Thad Young fetched #20, the trade value of our picks is set pretty darn well heading into this draft.  If we don't do something significant with this opportunity, I'll be a little bummed.

Also... nice moves by the Pacers to improve.

Danny Ainge just walked into the Garden with a huge smile. He looked confident -- and should based on his track record of draft night deals.

Great sign! Goodman is pretty in touch with the Celtics.

Some Celtics fan is holding up a "Thank You Brooklyn" sign outside of the Barclays Center lol

Maybe he just found out that the 2017 Nets pick is going to be even more valuable.

Oh boy...

Today has been the hottest day in Germany this year. Over the last few weeks it was constantly raining. Really felt more like autumn than summer/late spring. When I stepped out onto the street this morning, the air was so hot, it felt as if it came out of a hair dryer. I'm sitting in front of my table fan, and yet I'm still sweating.

What I'm trying to say is, the last thing I need is a heart attack, dang it!
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

yeah i dont know what to think honestly. I always thought of Teague as a very good pointguard. Not an allstar but still a force to be reckoned with. Getting him for essentially just the 12th is mind boggling. Makes me thing we could actually get guys like Middleton or Hayward for the 3. How much better is Noel than Young really? Im hoping we get Noel, Saric and a pick

I've gotta think that, at this point, we don't hear anything between now and the draft.

Wonder if Okafor, 24 and 26 is enough to get 7 or 8.

If there's a deal for the #3, it's already in place.  Nothing can be announced or even leaked, however, because Ainge is smart enough to make sure he could call the whole deal off if Simmons or Ingram somehow slipped.

Goodman said that Danny said he was close to a deal two hours ago, but not as much right now. He also said that he thinks we end up using the third pick and trading most of others. Though he also warned that the two other major deals he made on draft night happened right at 7.
