Didn't it come out that Dunn wouldn't give his medicals to a team with a lot of guards? I'd be furious if Ainge picked a player who had two shoulder surgeries without first looking at the medicals.

I also am not a huge fan of Dunn because of his age, position and the hitch in his shot but overall what would bother me the most is drafting a player with injury history without getting his medicals.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Wow....

I honestly can't believe how shortsighted some of you guys are being.

Many posters here act like we have Bradley and IT locked up for the next 5 years.  We don't.

Do you guys actually think we are going to resign IT when his contract is up? HAHAHAHAHA.... NO way does Danny resign IT at 20 mil a year, NO WAY.

We need PG depth.  We currently have ONE POINT GUARD.  Ya'll think Rozier is ready to play 15-20 minutes a night? Not even close to ready.

We need to think for the future..... in 2 years, IT and Bradley are GONE, and there is an incredibly slim chance that Danny will pay to extend them. (Actually, zero chance he pays for IT, slim one he pays for Bradley, really slim)

+1 good point. Point is Thomas is our best point, and he's not a real point. Plus Thomas will be 30 years old soon, many expect him to decline quickly at that point.

Thomas JUST turned 27 like 4 months ago so lets back off the whole "YEAH....AND HE'S OLD" thing.

He's right, though.  Heck, why build around Smart or Dunn?  They'll be 30 soon, too!
I'm bitter.

According to New England Patriots Draft's Mike Loyko, ESPN's Andy Katz reported that the Providence Friars point guard "seems to be the favorite" to fly off the board when the Celtics are on the clock at No. 3.

Am I missing something?  Doesn't look like a done deal to me.

Don't you mean a dunn deal? ;) ::) ;D

His surgery was done by one of the Celtics' team doctors.  I think he has a better idea of how Dunn's shoulder will hold up than teams that got the records

He's not even under contract for his age 30 season, so...  ;D ;D ;D

Which is largely irrelevant, because it's not like medical professionals can disclose any details.

Thomas is only 27, doesn't turn 28 until February.

He hasn't had any shoulder problems since he had the last surgery done two years ago.  Plus, Ainge resigned Bradley after his ankle and shoulder problems, so why not this kid?  I get that every case is different, but still.  After all, he took Sully when other teams were scared off by his back problems that eventually required surgery during his rookie year, didn't he?

No, but if you don't think Danny could at least get a yay or nay out of him, you haven't been watching the Celtics

Yeah, but players his size typically don't have long careers.

Dunn won't be wearing #3.

I find it weird that AB wears #0...Parish wore #00

So why can't we have players wear #03...or #01....etc.-?

Pretty sure the C's Doctor did the surgery on Dunn. Between that and Ainge reportedly seen him play live 25x the last two seasons, I think he has all the info he needs on this kid.
