Apparently there is now a rumor the Hawks will shop #12 and #21 in order to save more money and re-sign Horford in the offseason.

After dealing Teague the Hawks apparently now have enough cap space to re-sign Horford to the max if they so-choose.

My Prediction: Atlanta Hawks (He says he loves the city and I feel ATL will now offer him the max)

That rumor made no sense.  The Hawks could re-sign Horford to the max and be under the salary floor.  I think either Stein misinterpreted someone or people are misinterpreting Stein.

If the Hawks are looking to trade those picks, it's presumably to package them for a veteran player who makes near Teague money but does not play PG, thus making Horford more likely to stay.  The picks combined are $3.2 million -- that's not standing in the way of them doing anything.

I think Horford will go to Houston. I think this Teague trade will convince Horford that he will never be able to win a title in Atlanta. That he has to move to find his title-shot elsewhere. Of the teams listed above, I think Houston offers the best chance.

Horford would be a great fit in D'Antoni's offense and alongside Harden.

It would seem less likely they would keep horford given today's trade.

I think it'd be cool if both Horford and Noah signed in New York.

Could also see him giving the Celts a look.

Maybe the Warriors.

I think the Celtics will definitely make an offer for Horford.

But so will many other teams.

I think Noah is a possibility (lol Chicago fans would go crazy seeing Rose and Noah in NYK)

Noah would be a great fit in the Triangle offense with his passing ability.

Phil Jackson has always been a fan of Noah. Noah had some big games for Chicago against the Lakers outworking the bigger stronger Andrew Bynum to big rebounds. Making hustle plays. Rodman-esque dirty work in the paint.

Outside of the Hispanic connection, I don't see him in Houston. He seems to be a guy who cares about character and effort and chemistry, which isn't exactly Harden.

Contingent on some other moves, we'd be a good fit for him. Atlanta will still be an option if they offer the extra year and money. Portland would be an interesting fit, too.
