Not that Durant was going to come here this year anyways, but if Hayward is traded here, signs an extension does that mean we won't target Durant next year either? (They both play the 3)

Nope.

So Hayward would come off the bench if Durant possibly came here after next season?

100% this.

You move whatever obstacle to get Durant, whether that's trading him or playing him out of position.

That's an intriguing option. Depends on whether Bradley signs an extension or not in a few years.

No. When you have basketball players who can impact the game all over the court, you can play them together. Typically, our offense has a picker, a primary ball-handler, and secondary ball-handler/shooter, and two floor spacers. Hayward and Durant can both play several of those roles.

Probably. Hopefully Hayward is on "Durant's list" of players he wants to play with.

The Hayward rumor is fake. Don't see Utah moving him for picks since they want players who can help them win now

Yeah it is. But I wouldn't rule it out 100% either. After tomorrow night if we don't trade #3 then it doesn't matter.

If Broussard was accurate on Mike and Mike this morning, Durant doesn't want to go through free agency ever again, and wherever he chooses to be this off-season will be it for him.

So if we want Durant in green, it's likely this summer or never, regardless of what happens with Hayward...

Mathematically no but realistically it limits what we can add further and I don't think Hayward alone is enough to lure Durant

Not that this is likely, but it would be easy to picture a small ball lineup of Durant, Crowder, Thomas, Hayward and a goalie center like Noel/Biyombo/Whiteside/or even Howard.

May be something to this. I read somewhere that the Jazz despite the Cap rising will have some Serious Issues in the next 2 years with 2nd Contracts (Favors, Burke, Exum) and Gordon's 3rd (if he opts out for a short 2 yr deal next)

Without looking that's pretty intuitive since they are all young guys. Tough choice if one has to go.
