It seems odd to me that so many posters aren't accepting how the NBA landscape has changed for big men.
Having a big man that can't spread the floor is bad.
Having a big man that can't show and recover on pick and rolls AND can't spread the floor is death.
Greg Monroe is not a starting player for a competitive team. It looks like he will never be.
Okafor is young, but until he solves one of these two problems, he isn't a starting caliber player either.
