I think we can come out of this with more than we expect somehow.  Philly is getting Simmons most likely to go with Embiid.  They don't need Okafor or Noel. Getting a 3rd team involved would be the way to go where Okafor and Noel get shipped out from Philly.  We take Dunn and trade him to them. Trade Crowder and picks to them possibly as well where they ship out both where we can pick up someones pick and still take our guy in Jaylen Brown.

I don't think we should be shortsighted.  We can still get Kevin Love etc and take Brown too.  Or even Jimmy Butler. I feel like there has to be a way here where we can get the guys we want.  Possibly sign a guy like Dudley this offseason to go with Brown as well. Maybe reinvent our team somewhat and give us more youth and upside.

SAric is out there too.  Philly has him.  There has to be a way where we can get multiple players and get rid of some of our extra picks vs just making a shortsighted trade.

I can't see the Bulls doing that deal

I could see something like this:

Celtics: WCS, #8
Sac: Okafor
Philly: Dunn

There may be some other minor pieces in the deal - sweeteners for certain teams - but I could see something like that taking place.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

I've been saying this deal for awhile now. It makes a lot of sense. Unlike someone who said "Chicago wouldn't it" I disagree. Okafor is a lot more valuable to Chicago than Boston. He's more marketable there based on being a local product like Rose was in his younger days. Bradley or Crowder gives them an established young starter to fill in for Butler. With their 14th pick they would select a PG to take over for Rose who will likely be traded. I think Rozier would also be included in such a deal. I believe they were high on him during the draft. The question is going to be if Butler is worth all this. I think this team needs another reliable go to scorer like Butler. Let's face it, Bradley and Crowder are most likely not going to be stars in this league. Very nice players who would/will start in most places but not go to guys. Butler will also bring in free agents.

I wouldn't do both Bradley and Crowder. Just one. Still don't like any deal for Butler and the 3, because they haven't improved up front. Puts a lot of pressure on them to sign a FA center.

Butler for Bradley or Crowder is marginal improvement for hefty salary increase. The latter two have very good contracts.
