Pathetic Finals performance.     And he is getting paid how much money??

He had no clue what he was doing out there the last several games.  Just rode on Irving, Lebron, Thompsons back

Please Danny do not trade for this overrated player

Played very well in game 7 though.

If you're fixated on the box score you probably won't believe it, but he did.

Love needs to be on a different team.  He's never going to look very good playing the majority of his minutes alongside two other power forwards in Thompson and LeBron.

He needs to play next to a couple of defensive wings and a rim protecting center, in an offense where he is allowed to operate more frequently as a faciliator and shot creator out of the elbow and high post.

Right. Grabbing those defensive rebounds with nobody around.   He probably advised Tristant Thompson you do all the dirty work, guarding Curry while I stay back and grab the easy ones

yeah he had a few nice running hooks.  But outside of that was playing hot potato with Lebron and Irving.    Basically telling them, you guys do something

He should be making half of what Lebron/Irving make

I still think the Cavs are going to trade him

Controlling the glass, posting up to setup good offensive possessions by drawing help and passing out (no stats from this as it wasn't an assist) multiple times which resulted in easy buckets for his team and playing good defense all around.

When Love was on the floor this series they outscored the GSW by a healthy margin, when he was off the floor they did a lot worse. He's not a good fit for that team or the LBJ/Irving duo. But he's a good player and helped them win this series.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I really hope we do trade for him now.He should be had on the cheap and he's shown he's capable of being the 2nd/3rd option on a championship team. Considering how poorly he was used and how bad his fit is in Cleveland, his shooting range and rebounding were still crucially important to the Cavs success.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Sounds similar to a team I know.  ;)

I'm not buying the change of scenery argument so I simply hope that Danny will stay away at all cost from Kevin Love, even as a plan C.

are you serious?? lol

for the final series, review at his stats and you re-watch the whole series

Love and Harrison Barnes were by standers.   Some foolish team is going to pay up or give up valuable assets for pilons

exactly

I still laugh seeing Lebron crucifying him throughout the series.   Because Love defense/defensive effort is a joke.

Love: "but lebron, I had my hands up, give me a 5?"

Lebron: "You fool,  I can't believe we traded Wiggins for you"

Have to respectfully disagree. I thought he played very well last night. !4 rebounds, got to show a little low post games, AND got to give him credit on defensive job he did on Curry in the last minute.
Don't know that I would give away the farm, but I think he'd fit in very well here.

He did play a big role in their game 7 win. But I agree that he underperformed overall, though I don't think it's because Love himself has regressed but rather the slashing styles of Kyrie and LeBron don't allow for Love to pack the paint where he can score and also leaves him too far away from the basket to impact the boards on offense.

Did you also notice the endless hot potato game with irving and lebron?

What kind of so called all star talent does that ,not only yesterday but the whole series. He was basically a ghost

And again more than half of those rebounds was with nobody around
