He is one of the main reason of Warrior's epic collapse along with Ezeli's stupid plays. I can't believe some of the posters here actually wanted to overpay both of them.

Agree.  I want NO part of Barnes. Someone will grossly overpay.

Harrison Barnes? Didn't he play Han Solo in the Star Wars films? I think I remember him

I was happy to see him not show up because it may make it less likely we'll go after him. Same for Love even though he helped a lot last night for s game.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He was very disappointing. Played almost like he was injured vs how he played in last year's playoffs. Very bizzare.

The Warriors must all be exhausted, what an exhausting season.

After Barnes' playoffs I'm not anyone offers him the max.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

or the completely opposite.... The value gets lower and it makes it more possible to go after them....
Not saying we should though ....

I bet someone still offers him the max.  It may make it less likely Golden State matches, but I think he still gets it.  With the cap rising at least as much next year as this year, it's not a deal that will hamstring you.

Agree that someone probably offers him the max and regrets it later. There's just so much money out there this summer.

A more interesting question now is how much does Golden State value Barnes? Before they were talking about paying him whatever it took. Now, if someone does bid high does Golden State think he's worth it?

He was pathetic in the series. Ezeli was bad too.

Now on the other hand Draymond Green was a MONSTER. He almost single handedly won this game for them.

Just to save me research time - who was it that we drafted and "passed" on Draymond? Was it Olynyk? and the Cavs drafted Tyler Zeller before Green?

Barnes wont get max. I wonder what excuse his agent has

Barnes was scared like a rabbit this whole series

Just comfortable as a by stander.  Good defensive effort/versatile.  But a no show on the offensive end
