Jaylen Brown without a doubt. I am coming around on him. Still don't like that he cant shoot. I'm tired of that old wisdom that says "you can fix that". We have had a lot of guys come and go that this was said about, who never did. That being said, his upside is through the roof. If he DOES develop a J he will be a great player. He needs to be able to keep defenders honest, if he cant shoot, they will sag off, and just play him for the drive.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Surprised to see so many Jaylen Brown responses. It just seems like what he has in real-life in IQ, he lacks in Bball IQ. Sure he is physically great and he is working on his shot, but I am not loving his low analyitcs scores or the fact that he doesn't always seem to be doing the right thing on the court.

I would be okay with him if we traded down with, say, SAC for WCS and #7, but I don't know how you pass on Dunn at this point - highest trade value, least flaws, and fantastic explosiveness, athleticism, skill.

Just can't be Dunn unless they are moving one of the glut of small guards they have. Dunn is a poor outside shooter and does not give them much difference than what they already have

Imagine if Brown played for Kentucky or even Gonzaga last season

He had very little support at Cal

Boston needs to do something with Hunter, young... they seem like dead weight

Young is an example of the pitfalls of drafting 19yos.

Ainge knows that--which is why he probably will deal the pick for more known quantities.
