The Cavs winning seems to totally change things. Just to list a few questions that are now up in the air -

1) Does Lebron James leave to form a super team elsewhere?

2) Do the Cavs trade Love now?

3) How does this affect Durant's decision? Going East is still a decent idea having to only deal with one superpower rather than three other ones in GS, SAS, and LAC, but it certainly doesn't seem as easy of a decision as it was a week ago when the Warriors were up 3-1.

4) How do this affect us and our plans this summer? Cleveland is FAR from unbeatable, because I think this series was just as much about GS being burnt out and choking as it was the Cavs being better than them. However, are we going to build a good enough team in the next year or two to beat them? I actually think Lebron will start heading downhill pretty soon, because he's getting up there in age and he has A TON of mileage on his legs. I'm not necessarily thinking we should go young and "wait them out," but we're going to have to build our roster just as much to beat Cleveland as we are to beat a Western Conference team.

5) How bad does Curry's reputation fall after this? Quite frankly, I think it will drop dramatically. He was an absolute no-show this series, and he's the primary reason they lost both the series and this game.

Unfortunately, I think this really affects us in a negative manner. Not only does it severely damage our Durant hopes, which were already minimal in the first place, but it puts us at a real disadvantage this summer, because we don't really have a set path in front of us.

There's so much up in the air right now. Feel free to comment on whatever question you think you can add to or add more questions.

It's going to be an interesting off season for the whole league.

Danny's got to have blinders on..and just stick to his plan. Like you say, the Cavs are far from unbeatable....People always get carried away in the moment.

Trade for Butler, sign 2 Max Free Agents...and Run the Cavs into the ground next season-!
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

I dont think there's any point in trying to contend for at least the next three or four seasons without an MVP caliber player on the roster.

Really I think unless you have curry, Kawhi, or Durant, it's pretty much a waste of time to try to beat LeBron.

Wait till he's thirty five and get him when he's in decline.

What a horrible attitude. Lebrons not invincible and is only getting older. We make a couple trades and we can beat the cavs

Exactly. He's lost 4 times in the Finals. He's not some undefeated legend or something lol.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

No one competes without at least something resembling an MVP caliber player. We didnt need the finals to tell us that, and if anything, Id say the Dubs being toppled suggests we should continue to build because no one is unbeatable.

LeBron stays in CLE.

Cavs trade Love to a team like the Celtics, picking up expiring deals and draft picks. They miss out on Andrew Wiggins, but his advanced stats are not elite (yet).

Durant stays in OKC. Westbrook is a superstar and the two still have a good chance at winning a chip (or a couple).

BOS looks at Love, Butler, Cousins trades. None of these will happen. Danny will make another under the radar move that works out, such as Nic Batum or picking up multiple picks in next year's draft. He shouldn't force a bad trade (see Brooklyn Nets) out of desperation. He has a long leash with Stevens, and Celtics have built goodwill with fans since '08.

Curry is a two-time MVP and young. He'll be OK.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Cavs win another title with an even more dangerous roster.

Celts win a playoff series.

Stay the course..   IF Ainge put all his eggs in the Lure KD to Boston Basket then he is not the GM I thought he was..  We have to continue building through the Draft..  the Cav's have flaws sure, They can be beat.. sure..  But we have to build a team that can wear them down.. The KG, Pierce and Ray Allen ship only sails once every 4th blue moon (and that only got us 1 ring)

Keep chopping wood.. KD could very possibly leave OKC and end up with the Spurs or the Warriors.. Then what?

This.

Meantime, we look for a cornerstone to build on. Ingram or Dunn at #3. Try to sign Big Al and draft future rim protectors. Maybe we could add Parsons and play him at 2.

Home court and a round 1 victory is all we can hope for. Rome wasn't built in a day.

We have pieces that can already negate stars like Harden, Kyrie, Curry and Westbrook. What we need is a closer and some elite rim protection. Golden State got exposed after Bogut went down. Fill those holes and we can finally have a threat to the Cavs.
